Sweet and Sassy Haleigh

This little girl is my fireball. The other day I was getting ready and Matt was doing some school stuff and Haleigh was going to the bathroom. When Matt yells Karleigh you have to come see this (as he is laughing). Well Haleigh had taken all of her clothes off and was sitting next to the sink and giving herself a little bath. She was scrubbing herself down with the hand soap and just loving it. None of us could stop laughing, it looked so funny. She just looked up at me and said, "Hi mom.." just like it was an everyday thing! I really love her little personality. Even though at times I am like really Haleigh, you can make that big of mess. But she is just so much fun, I am constantly laughing at all the things she says and does. Lately Haleigh has been: loving her dance class, playing with her friends, crafting, singing, learning her letters, writing her name on everything, and just being Haleigh!

Our little buddy Tay

Sometimes I just look at Taylor and want to cry! He is just growing up so fast. I really want to freeze time and sometimes go back in time. He is learning so much right now. Taylor loves asking questions. It seems like now he is asking more serious questions that I don't always have the answers too, I think his mind is just always thinking about things. He is always creating and asking me can we craft. Lately he has been: break dancing all over the house, spelling out words, making up stories, building many Legos, playing with friends, swimming, keeping his room clean and spending time with Dad.

His french toast creation: whip cream, strawberries, and BACON

signs can be found all over his room

he can never get enough of dad

I just love this little guy!!!

Oh Christmas Tree

Getting our Christmas tree is always a fun event. It is seriously so much fun finding the perfect tree and cutting it down. This year there were so many perfect ones to choose from because we got our tree pretty early! The kids LOVE decorating the tree and the house for Christmas. I love watching them as they put their special ornaments on the tree. I love this time of year!

Halloween Fun

Halloween turned out great this year! Taylor wanted to be a Ninja and Haleigh wanted to be the little Mermaid aka Ariel. Our enrichment did a service auction and I won a handmade Halloween costume, thanks so much Merilee! Haleigh LOVED her costume, and I LOVED her costume, it turned out fabulous! The kids absolutely loved trick or treating. They were done in about 20 minutes, they wanted to get home so bad to just eat all the goods. I could have gone on for a lot longer, but who says no to their kids when they are done trick or treating that fast!
~Can we go already? No more pictures!~

We played a few games, this one is a mummy race!

Find the worms in the whip cream, hilarious to watch

YUMMY

Here's Tay and his buddy Matthew at their school Halloween party! They had sooo much fun! Halloween was such a blast! I love this time of year, we get to celebrate so many different holidays and just be together as a family. It's the best!

Eggs and Indians

Two funny stories about the kiddos.
Story #1
I was putting the groceries into the car when I noticed that the egg carton was open and some eggs (unbroken) were in the bag. I put them all back into the carton when I noticed that one was missing. I was like what the heck! where did the egg go? So I searched through the other bags and on the ground to see where it had disappeared to. I couldn't find this little egg anywhere. Then I thought great it's broken somewhere inside the car, but nope it wasn't! Then I ask the kids if they were playing with the eggs or something. They both of course said no. But then little Haleigh puts her hand down her shirt and says, "Oh here's the Egg mom!" Taylor and I bust up laughing so hard. My lovely little girl stole an egg and stuffed it down her shirt! And it was still all together~yes that is a miracle!

Story #2
I was folding laundry when the kids rushed in without their shirts on. I said why do you guys have your shirts off? You need to keep your clothes on! Haleigh said, "Mom we are just playing Indians" I love the imagination of kids, they just crack me up!
